New Sightseeing Train “Coto Coto Train”

A new sightseeing train named “Coto Coto Train” will begin operating in March 2019. The two-car train has a capacity of 48 passengers and is equipped with kitchen facilities and 12 tables. Passengers can enjoy lunch while the train runs leisurely through picturesque countryside landscapes. The interior of the train is designed by Eiji Mitooka, the designer of JR Kyushu’s luxury sleeper train Seven Stars in Kyushu. The train will initially run between Nogata and Yukuhashi, but the route will change according to the season. Source: Mainichi Shimbun, 10/30/2018
