Kurume Nishitetsu Taxi, a cab company in Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture, that is part of the Nishi-Nippon Railway (Nishitetsu) group, will begin accepting the Nishitetsu railroad’s contactless payment card Nimoca for taxi fares on the 18th. The company has 172 taxicabs serving the Kurume area. The point service system for use of the cards will begin in the summer. This will be the first cab company to use the Nishitetsu card.
