Nishi-Nippon City Bank has named its new headquarters near Hakata Station the “Nishi-Nippon City Building.” Announced by President Hideyuki Murakami on October 30, the name was chosen for its simplicity and regional familiarity. The redevelopment, part of the “Hakata Connected” project, will feature a 14-story structure with offices, retail space, and a 400-seat multipurpose hall. Its distinctive façade uses alternating tile and glass panels to adjust natural light. The new building is scheduled to open in summer 2026. Source: Nishi-Nippon City Bank
