Nishi-Nippon Railroad Marks 100 Years with Dividend Hike

Nishi-Nippon Railroad will raise its dividend to 40 yen per share for the fiscal year ending March 2024, up 5 yen from the previous year, in celebration of the Tenjin Omuta Line’s 100th anniversary in April. The company also forecasts a 20% increase in net profit to 22.1 billion yen for the same period, boosted by special gains from the sale of real estate in Fukuoka city, which significantly exceeded the original expectations of a 7% decrease in profits.
