Starting on March 3rd at the Former Hyaku-sanju Bank Gallery in Yahata Higashi-ku, Kitakyushu City, is an exhibition and sales event titled “From Riding to Viewing,” featuring scrap art. This event is an initiative by the Nishitetsu Group, which recycles the bodies of discarded buses into art pieces and sells them. 39 pieces of art are exhibited and available for purchase. Sales prices start from 35,000 yen, and the proceeds will be used for the next event’s hosting costs.
