Nishitetsu Bus in Fukuoka City has installed cameras that maintain a record of events on the interior and exterior of about 630 route buses in the city. The company says they are the first bus company in Kyushu to take this step, and their objective is to prevent accidents. If the city and the company are satisfied with the results, Nishitetsu will install them on the roughly 3,000 local buses in the corporate group.
