The Nishi-Nippon Railroad (Nishitetsu) started use of its nimoca card, a contactless payment card that can be used as both a bus and train ticket and as e-money at commercial establishments, on the 17th. It can now be used on Nishitetsu’s Tenjin-Omuta train line, seven bus routes in the city, and 530 shops, mostly in the Tenjin district. It is the first contactless payment card with these functions in Kyushu.
