Nishi-Nippon Railroad (Nishitetsu) will launch a trial digital travel consultation booth at Nishitetsu Kurume Station from November 10. Operated by subsidiary Nishitetsu Travel, the booth connects users remotely to staff at the company’s Tenjin branch for domestic and international travel inquiries. Located on the second-floor concourse, it operates from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and until 4 p.m. on weekends. Using Hitachi’s remote consulting system, it enables real-time communication and material sharing. The trial runs until January 31, 2026, to gauge customer demand and service potential for future expansion. Source: Nishitetsu
