Two self-drive buses belonging to Nishitetsu Bus will soon be road tested in Kitakyushu City. According to the company’s announcement on January 23, a microbus with a capacity of 34 persons and a mid-sized bus with a capacity of 54 persons will run on the public streets of the city. The operating route stretches 10.5 kilometers between Kitakyushu Airport and JR Kusami Station, with seven bus stops and ten traffic lights on the way.
