Nishitetsu revealed its new Sakuranamiki Station to the press on March 5, marking the first addition in 14 years to the Tenjin Omuta Line, set to open on March 16. Positioned between Zasshonokuma and Kasugabaru stations, the station boasts a modern design with exposed structural elements and a color scheme inspired by cherry blossoms. The station is elevated, reducing local traffic congestion, and includes retail spaces. Nishitetsu aims for the station to stimulate further development and community engagement in the area.
