Major food manufacturer Nissui will build a new factory in Kitakyushu’s Tobata Ward, slated to begin operations in 2027. The plant, located on the site of a former facility closed in 2022, will also consolidate production from an existing nearby plant. It will produce frozen foods and fish sausages.
