No Anomalies Reported Before Yanagawa Helicopter Crash

The National Transportation Safety Committee has dispatched aviation accident investigators to Yanagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, following a helicopter crash that killed two people on the 28th. Investigations revealed that no anomalies were reported during radio communications between the helicopter, its company, and Saga Airport before the crash. The helicopter crashed into a farmland around 4:12 PM, and the two victims were identified as a 50-year-old pilot and a 70-year-old mechanic returning from Hita City, Oita Prefecture.
