Fukuoka Prefecture announced plans to rebuild the boathouse at Ohori Park. The main building contained a cafe and restaurant which became famous for having a chair that Marilyn Monroe once sat on. The associated boat rental service will continue, but the restaurants closed at the end of May. Fukuoka Prefecture will open a tender for tenants of a new building. Nishinippon Shimbun May 31
