Ohori Park Nominated as Future Site of Prefectural Museum of Art

A committee for selection of the reconstruction site of the Fukuoka Prefectural Museum of Art named Ohori Park as the most suitable location. The committee pointed out that by moving the museum to a 20,400 square-meter in the southern area of Ohori Park, a new museum district will be born and thus creates a space appealing both to the residents and visitors of the prefecture. Governor of Fukuoka Prefecture Hiroshi Ogawa will review the report and make a final decision by the end of January. Source: Mainichi Shimbun 01/16/2020
