Older JR Beetle Ship Tested For Service in Okinawa

A trial service between two islands in Okinawa has begun using a JR Kyushu Beetle ship. The 240-passenger jetfoil is running between Kume Island and Naha City. Currently, the vessel is rented from a Kagoshima company; however, Kumejima Town hopes to purchase Beetle ships. Source: Ryukyu Shimpo
