The One Fukuoka Building, under construction on the former site of the Fuku Building as part of the Tenjin Big Bang redevelopment project, will officially open on April 24, 2025. The 19-story, 4-basement-floor building, known as “One Fukuoka Bldg,” will feature an exciting mix of tenants, including new business models and first-time stores for both Kyushu and Tenjin.
Tsutaya Bookstore, formerly located in the Fuku Building, will return in its new form within the One Fukuoka Bldg. Additionally, the second basement floor will feature organic and natural specialty food stores, while the first basement will be home to “Tenjin Noren Street,” a dining area showcasing local culinary favorites. This space will include about 120 shops, including a restaurant by Goh Fukuyama, named one of Asia’s Top 50 chefs.
