A new government-industry organization to promote vitality in the Tenjin area will launch on February 10. While the area of Tenjin is the site of many redevelopment projects over the next few years; however, in the meantime, it is expected to experience a slump due to facility closures. Local developers, including Nishitetsu and Fukuoka Jisho, Fukuoka City, and other companies, will collaborate to create events and provide information such as shop relocations and promote their vision of the new downtown.
