Over 200 infections in Fukuoka

On Apr. 21, Fukuoka Prefecture reported 244 new cases of the new coronavirus infection. The daily count exceeded 200 for the first time since Jan. 24, when the second state of emergency was in effect for the region. As of Apr. 20, the number of regional COVID-19 patients under treatments stood at 1,103. It breaks down into; 14 patients in critical care (occupying 12.6% of the hospital beds for such treatments,) 246 patients in COVID-19 treatment hospitals (35.6%), 14 patients hospitalized in other hospitals, 475 patients in accommodation facilities, and 354 patients at home.
