Parrots Pirated From Shop in Asakura

Five birds were stolen from Bird Center Asakura. On the morning of August 19, the shop owner Yasunori Tanaka entered the bird shed and found cages of five parrots worth ¥1.7 million stolen. The shop rears and sells parrots including some rare kinds. Approximately two hundred birds are living there. The owner commented that he hopes the thief will at least feed the stolen parrots well.
