Plans for New Hotel in Moji, Kitakyushu

Kitakyushu City announced on November 12 that it had given a right of first refusal in the redevelopment of the former head office of JR Kyushu in Moji Ward to an investment management company based in Hong Kong, Odyssey Asset Management Ltd. The then-highest building standing next to the JR Mojiko Station will be converted into a hotel with approximately 100 guest rooms, using a ¥3 billion budget. The renovation will start in the spring of 2020. Source: Kensetsutsushin Shimbun, 11/13/2019
