In the early morning on August 5, a wild boar sighted by police stationed near the U.S. Consulate Fukuoka. The boar then fled into the neighboring Ohori Park and Maizuru Park. At 11:50, the 70 police led team finally captured the one meter-long boar. According to Fukuoka City, it was the first time that a boar entered Ohori Park.
