Pop-up Restaurants Appear on JR Hakata Station Platforms

Pop-up restaurants will open for three months in turn between Mar. 2021 ~ Mar. 2022 on the platforms of JR Hakata Station. An empty kiosk house on Platform No. 5 and No. 6 for the Kagoshima Line. An Iizuka-based Japanese chef currently serves ramen noodles made solely with Kyushu-sourced ingredients. JR Kyushu Food Service will run the project to support local chefs and promote Kyushu foods. Participating chefs for the following three terms from Jul. 2021 will be sought soon. (*dishes must use Kyushu ingredients or represent Kyushu cuisine.) Source: JR Kyushu Food Service
