Fukuoka City Museum launched an online project to introduce scenes of post-war Fukuoka photographed by the U.S. military. As part of the museum’s tradition to commemorate the bombing of Fukuoka that occurred on June 19, 1945, one or two of those aerial photos get posted on its official Twitter page every day. An on-site exhibition called “War and Our Life 30” also runs until Sep. 5. Source: Asahi / Fukuoka City Museum / Fukuoka City Museum facebook
