Fukuoka Prefecture has opened the Fukuoka Small and Medium Enterprise Productivity Support Center inside the Yoshizuka Government Building next to the prefectural office. Fukuoka is home to roughly 130,000 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and the new center will offer support to all SMEs except those in primary industries like agriculture. With rising labor shortages and advances in technology, support will run the gamut from diagnostic analyses to proposals for improvements to the installation of equipment, all in the name of boosting productivity. This is the first agency in Japan to offer this kind of support. Source: http://www.fiba.jp/
