Fukuoka Prefecture and eight local university students are running the ‘C Project’ to improve cancer screening rates for young people. Prefectural screening rates for breast and cervical cancer fell below the national average in the 2019 survey, and the tendency is more distinct among the young. Members of the project, who had never taken such checkups before, reflected on their authentic voices to develop practical promotion activities.
