Thirty-four redback spiders were found at a high school in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. This is the largest number of dangerous spiders found at one time in Kitakyushu City this year. The spiders were found one after another on the wall of a school building and in a flower bed. According to Kitakyushu City, at around 10:30 a.m. on the 11th of this month, a school employee found one of the spiders on the school building wall. Later, 33 spiders were found near the school’s flower beds. No bites or injuries have been confirmed.
