As part of the redevelopment project “Hakata Connected” around JR Hakata Station in Fukuoka City, Plans to develop a plaza in an area to the west of the station are being considered. According to the people concerned, a new district plan is being considered in a part of Hakata Ekimae 3-chome in Fukuoka City. Plans include a new plaza on “Hakata Ekimae Street” and “Sumiyoshi Street” with a connected pedestrian walkway. Fukuoka City is promoting the redevelopment project “Hakata Connected” around JR Hakata Station and wants to create a space of greenery and relaxation.
