A significant expansion of service by Charichari, a bicycle rental service, was announced. The company plans to add some thirty bicycle ports in Sawara Ward, Nishi Ward, and more, enabling users to access more spots, including Odo Park and Marinoa City. The 2018-established service currently operates approximately 290 ports, using 1,500 bicycles and 250,000 monthly users.
New areas to be added:
Nishi Ward – Meinohama, Odo
Sawara Ward- Muromi, Fujisaki, Hara, Takatori
Jonan Ward – Arae, Chayama
Chuo Ward – Sasaoka, Ozasa, Heiwa
Hakata Ward – Itazuke, Takeshita
Minami Ward – Takamiya, Ohashi, Noma, Wakahisa
Stands can be found at: convenience stores, accommodation facilities, apartments and more (approx. 30 spots)
