Restoration to Damaged Jr Hohi Line Begins

JR Kyushu announced that it has started restoration of the train tracks between Higo-Ozu Station and Aso Station in Kumamoto. Since the Kumamoto earthquake and subsequent heavy rains last year that section of the JR Hohi Line has been closed. Currently buses operate on the route between the two stations.
