Roadside Land Values Continue to Rise in Kyushu

Roadside land prices in Kyushu increased for the fifth consecutive year. On Jul. 1, the National Tax Agency released its latest report for land valuations, which shows an average 0.4% growth in the seven prefectures. Prefectures of Fukuoka (+1.8%,) Saga (+0.4%), and Kumamoto (+0.1%) saw increased land prices, while their rates of growth were less compared to that of 2020. The most expensive land was Tenjin 2-chome (Watanabe-dori) in Fukuoka City, at ¥8.8 million per square meter (+0%.)
