The Saga Prefectural Police, which handles about 80,000 lost items annually, is currently safeguarding a rather unusual find. A female pig approximately one meter long is under the care of the Imari Police Station in Saga Prefecture. On the 13th of this month, a city official found and secured the pig in the mountains of Niri Town, Imari City. As there are no pig farms in Imari City and the pig does not seem to be afraid of humans, it’s suspected that the pig was kept as a pet, hence it was reported to the Imari Police Station as a lost item.
