Saga Prefecture First To Discontinue Covid-19 Daily Count Report System

Saga Prefecture became one of the first four municipalities in Japan to discontinue tracking the new coronavirus daily counts. As of August 31, medical institutions in Saga would need to report daily counts of COVID-19 patients who fall into one of the following categories; 65 years old and above, pregnant, hospitalized, and with higher risks of developing severe symptoms.
