JR Kyushu’s Seven Stars luxury train will undergo renovations to mark its ninth anniversary. An authentic tea room for passengers to enjoy traditional cups of tea served by local experts will be added, and upgraded bar space. The number of guest rooms will be reduced to provide higher levels of services. The fare for the highest-class plan will be ¥1,700,000 per person (double occupancy.)
