Sharks Spotted Off Itoshima Coast

​On the morning of the 28th, about 10 sharks, believed to be hammerhead sharks, were found 200 meters off the coast of Itoshima City, Fukuoka Prefecture. The police are calling for caution from swimmers and others. According to the police, on the 26th, a man who was fishing about 200 meters off the coast of Shima-Keya, Itoshima City, contacted the city. Shortly after 10 a.m. on the 28th, a police helicopter spotted a shark believed to be a hammerhead shark. There are 10 to 15 of them swimming around, and they are all about 1 to 1.5 meters long.
