Local sake brewers have developed alcohol products to substitute sanitizers. An Asakura-based brewer, Shinozaki, released ‘ALC66’ contains 66% alcohol. Intending to return support they received from the community after the disastrous rainfalls in 2017, the company decided to make and sell the product to assist with the recent shortage of sanitizing products. The product is on sale for ¥9,240/ 6 bottles. Limited one set per family. Another brewer in Tachiarai will release a similar product this month to supply medical institutions and the local government. Source: Shinozaki
