The Kyushu Office of Japan Post Co., Ltd. has announced the release of a special stamp for Dazaifu City. Photos of historical spots such as Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine and a stone monument of Manyoshu poems show the connection between the city’s history and Japan’s new era name, ‘Reiwa.’ A limited two thousand sheets (¥1,350, ten stamps) will be available at post offices of 20 cities and towns in Fukuoka Prefecture as well as the official online shop.
