China’s low-cost carrier Spring Airlines will increase its Saga–Shanghai route from three to four round trips weekly starting July 6, adding Sunday service to the current Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule. The announcement follows a visit by Saga Governor Yoshinori Yamaguchi to the airline’s parent company in Shanghai, where he expressed gratitude and awarded the company for its contributions. Since resuming post-pandemic operations in September 2023, the route has seen seat occupancy remain in the mid-80% range, indicating strong passenger recovery. Source: Saga Prefecture
