Spring Airlines Halts Saga–Shanghai Flights

Spring Airlines will suspend its Saga–Shanghai route from December 22 after a sharp drop in passenger numbers, Saga Prefecture announced. The Chinese low-cost carrier had already reduced the service from four to two weekly round trips earlier this month. Load factors, previously in the 90% range, fell to around 40% in December following Chinese government travel advisories urging caution about visits to Japan.  Source: Saga Prefecture / Saga Shimbun
