StarFlyer Restores Kitakyushu-Taipei Service

StarFlyer resumed scheduled service between Kitakyushu and Taipei on September 2 after a six-and-a-half-year suspension. About 30 people, including Kitakyushu Mayor Kazuhisa Takeuchi and airline representatives, attended a ceremony at Kitakyushu Airport. The route will operate three round trips per week. Around 100 passengers were expected aboard the first departure from Kitakyushu at 11:40 p.m. The first inbound flight was scheduled to arrive early on September 3, when passengers were to be welcomed with a water salute and other activities.
