The Kyushu Bureau of Economy, Trade, and Industry has established a study group for economic exchange with Indochina to examine the economic potential for Kyushu companies in Thailand, Vietnam, and other countries in the region. The group already has begun conducting surveys. It will send members on a tour in November to examine first hand promising countries and sectors, and then send a larger group representing Kyushu companies and universities in February 2009.
