Sununbrellas Used at Theme Park for Social Distancing

The Sasebo-based theme park, Huis Ten Bosch, launched a social-distancing campaign, using sun umbrellas. While women regularly use sun umbrellas for protection from the summer heat, the project encourages male guests to carry them. In collaboration with an umbrella brand, Wpc, the park gives away ¥500 coupons to male guests who purchase sun umbrellas at one of the in-park shops. Also, a hashtag campaign (#日傘でハウステンボス, #日傘男子) is taking place with special prizes (Aug.1 ~ 31.) Sources: HTB / Kanko Keizai
