Teen Arrested for Ice Cream Theft in Fukuoka

A 14-year-old boy in Fukuoka City was arrested for stealing 38 ice creams worth approximately ¥18,000 from an unmanned dessert store with his younger brother on November 24. The theft was reported by the store’s owner, who witnessed the incident on surveillance cameras.

The suspect admitted to the crime during questioning after being located by police two days later. Authorities are continuing to investigate, including the involvement of his younger brother. While the accused’s motives are clear, questions remain about how many ice creams were consumed before they melted. Source: TNC
