Toshiba will terminate the contracts of roughly 200 seconded employees at its Kitakyushu plant by the end of the year, it was learned. The plant primarily produces semiconductors for automobiles, and production has been cut back due to falling car demand worldwide. This will eliminate nearly all of the seconded employees at the plant.
