With 100 days remaining until the start of the international cycling event “Mynavi Tour de Kyushu 2025,” officials held a countdown ceremony on July 2 at the Fukuoka Prefectural Government Office. Now in its third year, the event will take place over four days from October 10 to 13, spanning approximately 400 kilometers across five Kyushu prefectures. The October 11 leg will pass through Fukuoka Prefecture, with riders racing between Yame and Chikugo. The event is expected to feature elite cyclists from both Japan and overseas, highlighting Kyushu’s scenic routes and promoting regional tourism. Among those attending the ceremony were Fukuoka Governor Seitaro Hattori and former Olympic cyclist Makoto Iijima, who encouraged the public to enjoy the intense competition up close.
