Toyota Kyushu Production Could Fall Below 300,000 Units

Toyota Kyushu revealed that its auto production for business year 2008 could fail to reach the 300,000-unit level. That would be the first time the company failed to produce 300,000 autos since 2004, a four-year period. Toyota Kyushu manufactures the luxury Lexis model and the Highlander SUV, and about 90% of its production is exported.
