Toyota Motor Kyushu, Inc. opened a new co-working space, Toyota Kyushu Co-Creative connected lounge Garraway F in Tenjin on June 15. Fifty seats in the 202-square-meter room are open to local business people including startup owners and young engineers. Amid a major change in the automobile market, Toyota intends to seek potential partners with different backgrounds through various events and social media activities. Five members from Toyota’s next-generation project team regularly work on site and welcome new business ideas with themes such as Maas (mobility as service). A unique project to turn suggested ideas to Toyota’s actual business is being carried out. Source: IMS 6/17/2019
