Munakata City has initiated Japan’s first effort to incorporate the Toyota Production System (TPS) to improve the working conditions of educators. A meeting at Akama Nishi Elementary School gathered three Toyota Kyushu employees and approximately 30 teachers to discuss existing challenges and ideal work scenarios. This collaboration aims to eliminate inefficiencies and enhance productivity in school administrative tasks. Starting September, the school will implement these improvements. Source: NHK
