Toyota Motor Kyushu held a ceremony on Sep. 28 after its Miyata plant in Miyawaka produced its 10 millionth vehicle on Sep. 11. The factory began production in December 1992 with the Mark II and later built models including the Harrier and Windom. It now manufactures about 40% of Lexus vehicles worldwide, including hybrids and electric vehicles. The company’s president said its vehicles reach more than 80 countries.
