Typhoon No. 12 Approaching Kyushu

Typhoon No. 12, dubbed “Nam Theun”, is currently moving northeast towards West Japan at 15 km/h. Okinawa and the Amami area are currently experiencing very strong winds, which are expected to grow in strength and to continue into tomorrow (Sep. 3). From Sep. 4 (Sun.), weather is expected to become very unsettled in the rest of Kyushu. On Sep. 5 (Mon.), West Japan will experience strong winds and rain. Violent winds, high waves, flooding and landslides are all possible, so please take care. Check news and meteorological sites regularly for up-to-date info.
