Typhoon No. 14 Approaching Kyushu

Typhoon No. 14 is moving westward over the sea south of Japan and is likely to soon approach Okinawa/Amami and Kyushu. Please pay attention to the latest information as it coincides with a three-day weekend. According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, Typhoon No. 14 was south of Japan at 6:00 a.m. today, moving westward at a speed of about 10 km per hour. The pressure at the center is 985 hectopascals, the maximum wind speed near the center is 25 meters, and the maximum instantaneous wind speed is 35 meters. The typhoon will continue to develop and move northwestward, gradually changing its course to the north.
